Type of registration will be determined by this breeder and agreed upon with the purchaser prior to the sale. The buyer agrees that this puppy will NOT be registered under any registration other than the one provided by this breeder without the expressed written consent of the breeder.

Buyer Responsibilities:

* Have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery. Seller must be informed immediately of the examination result by email or by fax. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.

* Provide puppy with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:

1. Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

2. Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.

* Puppy must be paid in full by seven weeks of age or all monies paid and all claims to the puppy will be forfeited.

* All deposits are nonrefundable.

* Any and all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Health Guarantee:

* This puppy is guaranteed for one year from date of birth against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers the movement of the dog and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this one year time frame, the buyer will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason. If reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy.

* This guarantee does not cover what in the bulldog breed is considered normal: cherry eye, entropion, loose hips, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, and stenotic nares (collapsed nostrils.)

* All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds.

* Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.

* As of the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and wormings. The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and wormings due.

* This guarantee does not include Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening.

A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:

Animal must show the defect by one year of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business days of the licensed veterinarian determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem and Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.

* No refund, in part or in full, will be given.

* A returned puppy must be retuned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the expense of the buyer. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.

* Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the seller on a replacement puppy.

* This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party.

* No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without permission of the seller after a consultation with the treating veterinarian.

* Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of original puppy.

* There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.

* We DO NOT guarantee against conditions that may or may not be stress related from the move to a new home and/or by the shipping process. These stress related conditions that have previously remained dormant can be triggered by the above and unfortunately cannot be diagnosed until an active case becomes evident. Some of these stress related conditions or illnesses are: coccidia, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and kennel cough.

* Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.

* Seller is only guaranteeing the above puppy as a healthy companion/pet and that the puppy’s' pedigree is correct to the best of sellers knowledge.

* This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.

* Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Pennsylvania and the sellers county of residence. It is agreed that any legal issues or court proceedings concerning the puppy purchased under this contract will be resolved in the sellers county of residence. This extends to internet sales across state lines as well.

If at any time during the life of the puppy/dog concerned in this contract, the purchaser due to unforeseen circumstances cannot continue to keep the dog we HAVE to be notified and will accept the dog back and find a suitable home for him or her. No exchange of money or replacement is offered in this circumstance.

RE HOMING IN ANY MANNER:

PRIOR TO ANY RE SALE OF THIS PUPPY THE PURCHASER AGREES TO NOTIFY THE BREEDER.

PURCHASER AGREES THAT PRIOR TO ANY RE SALE, THIS PUPPY WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED UNLESS OWNERSHIP IS TO GO BACK TO THIS BREEDER.

Any Boston Terrier from Blue Bostons purchased with full registration to breed should be looked upon as a privilege to own. Breeders entrusted to carry on our lines will be very far and few in between. For that reason we have added the stipulation that should you decide for any reason to re home a Boston Terrier purchased (or in any way obtained) from us, at anytime in that dogs life, one of two options MUST be adhered to without exception: Blue Pines reserves all rights to choose from the following options.

1. The intact dog MUST be shipped back to the breeder at the owner's / buyer's expense with no refund of the purchase price

2. The dog must be altered (spayed or neutered) THEN placed in a pet home that is approved BY THIS breeder.

Do these stipulations make owning one of our dogs more difficult ? Will any breeder wishing to obtain one of our babies for the purpose of improving the colored Boston Terriers in their program think twice?ABSOLUTELY and I refuse to apologize for the commitment I have to all our babies even after they leave our home.

If for some reason you choose not to breed a fully registered dog from BLUE BOSTONS we do NOT expect your commitment to that animal to end either.

Breeding is hard work and comes with many sleepless nights. It should never be taken lightly. No dog should ever be purchased without the commitment to care for that fur baby for the rest of it's life .

Breeding programs should be well thought out and developed PRIOR to bringing in a new family member.

I have put my heart and soul into each and every one of our babies. We have started from scratch and have built, what is in my opinion, the best colored Boston Terrier breeding program there is. We consider it an honor to be owned by these special little dogs and demand anyone lucky enough to have one of our babies have the same committment.

DUE TO UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCE I AM REVISING MY STIPULATIONS ON ANY BLUE PINES PUPPY WITH FULL AKC REGISTRATION.

ANY TRADITIONALLY COLORED BLUE PINES PUPPY WITH FULL AKC REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OWNED BY BLUE PINES. THAT PUPPY MUST BE AKC SHOWN AND CHAMPIONED BEFORE ANY BREEDING EVER TAKES PLACE. IF THE PUPPY HAS NOT BEEN SHOWN OR CHAMPIONED BY 2.5 YEARS OLD THE PUPPY MUST BE RETURNED TO BLUE PINES AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE

IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENTAL BREEDING...ALL MEDICAL FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREGNANCY WILL BE PAID BY THE BUYER / LEASEE. ALL PUPPIES WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF BLUE PINES AND BE SHIPPED TO BLUE PINES AT THE BUYER / LEASEE'S EXPENSE WHEN THE PUPPIES ARE 9 WEEKS OLD.

ANY COLORED BLUE PINES' PUPPY WITH FULL AKC REGISTRATION WILL NOT HAVE OWNERSHIP TRANSFERED TO ANYONE OTHER THAN BLUE PINES. LEASING OR CO OWNING

WITH BLUE PINES MAY BE AN OPTION BUT ALL BREEDINGS, LITTER REGISTRATIONS AND TRANSFERS MUST BE DONE WITH WRITTEN PRIOR APPROVAL.

ANY PUPPIES PRODUCED OUT OF COMPLIANCE WITH THIS AGREEMENT MUST BE SHIPPED AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE TO BLUE PINES.
