The first colored Boston Terrier that I met in the fur other than my blues was a gorgeous fawn puppy. She was just perfect. Then as it does in life, the years passed. The blues have become my passion and I am very proud of where we have taken them. But life is funny and tends to come full circle. Upon looking toward retiring I decided to mark a box off my breeding bucket list. I wanted to produce a fawn that I could be proud to have carry the Blue Pines name.
I wanted to develop a line that did NOT have the very common fawn breeders name in the pedigree and one that did NOT carry the dilute. I LOVE the beautiful black mask that makes the fawn the distinctive beauties that they are. Oh ya and I wanted one that was not line bred. Please please especially if you are inquiring about blue or champagne (dilute) fawns, even if you never have the intention of breeding...ask the breeder to see the 5 generation pedigree of the puppy you are inquiring about or the parents. If names appear in both moms and dads pedigree repeatedly ...Run like hell.
That being said I knew I was going to have a task ahead of me... But the unthinkable happened... several of us breeders from across the country worked together to make it happen.
I would like to introduce....
MY AKC CHAMPION SIRED FAWN MALE THAT WAS BRED HERE BORN HERE AND WILL BE THE NEW STANDARD IN THE COLORED BOSTON TERRIER FAWNS
